When we started Web-design back in 2001, we had to deal with those browser wars which required
using multiple dirty hacks to get a halfway consistent design, esp. Internet Explorer needed a lot of
supply..
Then handhelds took over, and with accelerating speed everything has been changing.
For a while I started to catch up with all those media rules for tablets, handhelds of different companies,
with too many alternating sizes and resolutions, and finally considered it hilarious, mentally deranging requirements.
I decided to stuck with three media rules max, plus maybe a print css.
That’s fine with me to cover the most needed requirements of web-design.
For decades I’ve been looking for the holy grail of layout, and keep it up to standards of the W3C.
